Boating for Every Interest
Whether you’re an experienced sailor or brand new to boating, TYC offers opportunities for everyone. Members enjoy cruising, sailing, and a variety of on-the-water activities throughout the year.

Junior Sailing Program
TYC proudly offers an excellent Junior Sailing Program every summer. Designed to teach sailing skills, confidence, and teamwork, the program includes three two-week sessions beginning in early June.

Clubhouse & Amenities
Our well-appointed clubhouse is located at 1196 Harbor Drive in Slidell, Louisiana, offering beautiful harbor views and a relaxed, friendly setting.
Members enjoy:

- A well-stocked bar with member-priced drinks
- Complimentary second drink during Thursday happy hour and 25% off drinks during Friday happy hour

- Clubhouse use for immediate family at no rental charge (voting members in good standing)
Reciprocal Club Privileges
When you join TYC, you also become a member of the Gulf Yachting Association (GYA), which provides reciprocity at more than 30 yacht clubs across the Gulf Coast—from Florida to Texas.
Boaters can often enjoy dockage at reduced rates with advance reservations, and coastal clubs welcome members whether or not they arrive by boat.
TYC is also a member of the Register of American Yacht Clubs, extending visiting privileges nationwide.

Membership Information
Becoming a member of Tammany Yacht Club means joining a community, not just a club.
- Monthly dues: $100
- Initiation fee: $350
- Non-resident membership: $100 per year
- Active members receive voting rights and reciprocal privileges
