Juniors

The Tammany Yacht Club Juniors program focuses on skill development, sailing knowledge as well as local and regional racing. In order for a junior to participate, they must either be a child of a current TYC member or become a TYC Junior/Youth member themselves. With a TYC membership, you have access to the boats and facilities provided by TYC as part of your monthly dues.

We currently sail Optimists, Lasers, 420s and Flying Scots. Juniors are welcome to bring their own boats if they so desire.
